RESPECT LIFE (RL) is dedicated to sharing information and resources which can help preserve all human life. Operating under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the Committee for Pro-Life Activities of the National Conference of Catholic Bishops, we share the Church’s teaching that all human life is sacred, for it is created in the image and likeness of God.

IDAHO CATHOLICS RESPECT LIFE (ICRL) is a group of representatives from Respect Life ministries of various parishes in the Diocese of Idaho. In the southwest Idaho area, a group meets monthly (usually on the second Thursday) at 7:00 pm in the conference room of Salt & Light Radio, 5601 Cassia in Boise. We are also in contact with other RL representatives from parishes around the state, and welcome the addition of new names and contacts to our list on this website.

What We Do

Respect Life encourages the community in many ways and fights to raise awareness about the tragedy of abortion. Here are some examples:

• Knights of Columbus Ultrasound Initiative
• Day of the Unborn Child – Novena of Masses
• Forty Days of Prayer for Life outside of the Planned Parenthood abortion clinic
• Respect Life Diaper Drive – collects supplies to help needy mothers and newborn babies
• Post crosses in front of St. Mark’s Church to represent the children that die each day due to abortion
